I had the privilege of getting in contact with Mike of A.R.S All Reno Spares regarding a part that I required for my Renault Duster. I reside in Blairgowrie in Johannesburg and first called the agents to get a quotation on the part. They quoted me an amount that was shocking as the part is very hard to find. I must have spent in excess of 50 calls to different scrapyards and suppliers trying to find the part and driven more that 200km to no avail. One of the callers referred me to Mike of ARS. I called him and within 5 mins he called me back and informed that he had the part for me and that he was in Pretoria. He also advised me that I should bring the entire pipe so that he could see if the part fits. All I needed was a clip to hold the pipe. I told him that I could not drive my vehicle to him and he advised me on how to get my vehicle to him. He was a God sent and had he not helped me I would still be without my vehicle today. He was effecient and diligent and had excellent knowledge in his field. When I got to A.R.S. I got the shock of my life. There were hundreds of Renault vehicles and I knew immediately that I could get any part for my vehicle in the future. Mike helped me fit the part to my car within 5 minutes and she runs like a dream now. I wanted to let you guys know how frustrating it is to try and get parts for a Renault and what a relief it was to know that a place like A.R.S exists.
